How To Stay Positive To Live Longer

If you are reading this post its because you are interested in learning how to stay positive to live longer. I been researching over the past few months on how to live longer in life. I found out the way we use words on a daily basis has to do with us living longer. According to Sarah Pressman, of the University of Kansas, and Sheldon Cohen states

‘High activated positive affect’: words like happy, active, energetic, lively, enthusiastic.
Unactivated positive affect’: such as calm, relaxed and content.
High activated negative affect’: such as worried, jittery, distressed and upset.
Unactivated negative affect’: such as sad, lonely, downhearted and hopeless.

What they found out when they analyzed these affects was “After controlling for sex, year of publication, health (based on disclosed illness in autobiography), native language, and year of birth, the use of more activated positive emotional words (e.g., lively, vigorous, attentive, humorous) was associated with increased longevity.”

Now the question you might be asking yourself is this “how would this increase my life when understanding this? If you are on a daily basis using words that stress you out believe it or not thats going to lead to diseases and failure in your life. Your main goal should be using high activated positive affected words to live longer and better. Another way to live longer is by exercising and staying healthy. I know you have heard this before from other videos and books and it does work. I mentioned to you on this post if you implement these strategies daily you are going to notice a huge difference in how you live your life. I seen time after time people thinking the best solution to relief stress is by drinking and doing drugs that is so incorrect. It has been proven over the years when you are toxicating your body its not going to help you live longer.
